How Beara works
Beara is an app for Coinbase tokenized stocks on Base. You hold B20 shares in your own wallet, swap them, and stake them from one shell.
What we built
The product is an app for equities that already live onchain. Coinbase issues the stocks as B20 tokens, backed 1:1 by real shares in custody. We built the interface that puts those tokens to work.
- Stocks. The official listing set, with ticker, price, and contract.
- Swap. Quote a pair against USDC or another listing, then book it to the connected wallet.
- Stake. Not live yet. Vaults will land here later. Swap and hold work today.
- Portfolio. Positions booked in this app, keyed to the wallet you connect.
How to use it
- Open the app and connect a wallet that can talk to Base (chain ID 8453). The app will ask to switch networks if you are on the wrong chain.
- Pick a listing. Match the contract on the Stocks screen before you buy.
- Swap into the token on Base, or hold it in your wallet.
- Add the token to the wallet when asked so the B20 asset shows in your account.
Listings
Identify every token by contract, not by ticker alone. If a token is not on this list, treat it as not issued through this product surface.
Tech
- Network. Base mainnet, chain ID
8453. - Assets. Coinbase tokenized stocks as B20 tokens. B20 extends ERC-20, so wallets and routers that speak ERC-20 can hold and transfer them.
- Quotes. Swap quotes are fetched live from Base DEX routing (LiFi). You sign the transaction in your wallet.
- Wallet. Connect uses the browser wallet. The app switches you to Base (8453) and can watch the token after a swap.
- Stake. Not wired on-chain yet. The Stake screen in the app says so plainly.
- USDC. Native USDC on Base:
0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913.
Eligibility
Tokenized stocks are available only in eligible jurisdictions outside the United States. Nothing here is an offer, solicitation, or investment advice. Prices can move when US markets are closed.
